About this place
The dish that first catches the eye at Tokidoki is the mentaiko cream udon, described as one you’ll want to eat again and again. It also appears on the menu, listed at 700 yen (prices may change). It’s an appealing way to round off a meal after sharing a few izakaya dishes.
Another pleasure is the obanzai, whose selection changes from day to day. On one visit, a diner enjoyed sashimi, braised pork, eggplant simmered after frying, and a simmered hamburger steak. Choosing from that day’s offerings is part of the experience. The menu lists an assortment of 3 chef’s-choice obanzai dishes for 1,000 yen, as well as a three-kind sashimi assortment and pork belly simmered with ponzu (prices may change).
Among the listed drinks, a medium Asahi draft beer is 500 yen and a medium bottle of Sapporo Akaboshi is 600 yen (prices may change). Chūhai, available in lemon, lime or yuzu, is listed at 700 yen. The shochu selection includes Kurokirishima at 450 yen, Daiyame at 500 yen and Tomino Hozan at 600 yen (prices may change).
